m2e provides comprehensive Maven integration for Eclipse. You can use m2e to manage both simple and multi-module Maven projects, execute Maven builds via the Eclipse interface, and interact with Maven repositories.Software being installed: m2e - Maven Integration for Eclipse (includes Incubating components) 22.214.171.12440606-0033 (org.eclipse.m2e.feature.feature.group 126.96.36.19940606-0033) Missing requirement: Maven Integration for Eclipse 188.8.131.5240606-0033 (org.eclipse.m184.108.40.20640606-0033) requires 'bundle org.slf41.6.2' but it could not be found Cannot satisfy dependency: From: Maven POM XML Editor 220.127.116.1140606-0033 (org.eclipse.m2e.18.104.22.16840606-0033) To: bundle org.eclipse.m2[1.5.0,1.6.0) Cannot satisfy dependency: From: m2e - Maven Integration for Eclipse (includes Incubating components) 22.214.171.12440606-0033 (org.eclipse.m2e.feature.feature.group 126.96.36.19940606-0033) To: org.eclipse.m2e.[188.8.131.5240606-0033]Suddenly maven was disappeared all of my work spaces. I tried to recover by uninstalling and re installing m2e, but didn't work. Finally I did a 'mvn clean' from the command line and restarted the eclipse. Connection reset Anyone else having trouble downloading/installing? Read timed out Hi I am running Juno on a Win7 64-bit machine and have installed the Maven Integration for Eclipse package plus the WTP integration package via the Eclipse MArketplace and Discovery dialogues respectively. with the maven-archetype-quistart archetype then selected Run As../Maven build .... Regards I've been waiting for what seems like forever for the built in installer to finish calculating requirements and dependencies.
The mytest project is shown here with the red x icons indicating that there are problems with the project. The maven SW "eclipse:eclipse" goal will download any necessary dependencies and will update our project's .classpath to include these dependencies.Software currently installed: Shared profile 184.108.40.2068119157680 (Shared Profile_epp.220.127.116.118119157680) Missing requirement: Shared profile 18.104.22.1688119157680 (Shared Profile_epp.22.214.171.1248119157680) requires 'org.eclipse [126.96.36.19910607-2117]' but it could not be found This has been mentioned before and there was a message implying it was remedied. Is there a non-marketplace way to install m2eclipse?I pulled a fresh Eclipse Helios (64 bit) for Mac osx and when you bring up the Eclipse Marketplace and search for "Maven Integration eclipse" you will see at least 2 related entries (core and extras). m2eclipse is a fantastic plugin - thanks to sonatype for the hard work. Thanks :-)In Helios you can go to the install new software area and select from the select the avalailable software link. I was able to install Sonar from the marketplace after doing this so it appears to work just fine.In other tutorials, we created a maven project called "mytest" and imported it into Eclipse. After importing the project, it had build path issues.
